How payment works:
- Accept a bid and add a payment method
- Your funds are held in Escrow Shield — the contractor can’t access them yet
- The pro completes the work
- You inspect and tap Release Payment when satisfied
The small service fee is shown upfront at checkout — no surprises. All payments are processed by Stripe (PCI Level 1), the same processor used by Amazon and Google.
Important: Keep all payments in-app. Off-platform payments void your escrow protection and dispute resolution rights.
