Miami painting — questions that still matter

Insurance, paint supply, exterior timing, and when you pay.

When do I pay?
Posting and comparing bids is free. When you book, you pay into escrow before work starts. You approve payment release to the painter after reviewing the finished work.
What kinds of painting jobs do Miami pros handle?
Interior painting, exterior painting, cabinet refinishing, accent and feature walls, drywall repair and painting, stucco and masonry painting, trim work, and more. Post any residential painting project.
Do painters in Miami need licenses?
Florida requires no contractor license for painting unless structural work is involved. AllBetter verifies each pro’s identity, not licenses or insurance — ask about insurance and past work in chat before you book.
How much do painting services usually cost in Miami?
Interior full home or condo $1,800–$5,500, exterior $3,000–$9,000, cabinets $1,500–$4,500, accent wall $400–$1,200, drywall and paint $300–$1,000. Post your job with photos for bids on your actual space.
Do I need to be home during painting?
Not for most jobs — many Miami painters work while you’re away. Agree access (doorman, key, condo rules) and who moves furniture in chat before the visit.
What should I include in my painting job post?
Project type (interior, exterior, cabinets), square footage or rooms, current colors, desired finish, photos of the space, any prep needed, and condo rules or access notes. More detail gets better bids.
