Are the jobs from real local homeowners?

Yes. Jobs are posted by homeowners and landlords in the HomeFix app with a description, photos and location. You see them in your feed when they match your trades and area.

When is the job funded, and when do I get paid?

When the homeowner books your bid, their payment goes into Stripe escrow before work starts. After you send the invoice with completion photos and the customer approves, you can be paid in as little as 30 minutes.

What if the homeowner goes quiet or won’t approve?

The money is already in escrow, so it isn’t a chase. Message them in the app first; if it isn’t resolved, AllBetter support steps in to review the invoice and completion photos with both sides.

Do I need to be verified?

Yes. Every pro completes identity verification through Stripe — a government ID and personal details — before they can be paid. Pros who complete an optional nationwide criminal background check earn a Gold Badge on their profile.

Can I sign up on my computer?
