What If the Contractor Doesn’t Show Up or the Work Goes Wrong?

You’re protected either way: your payment sits in Escrow Shield and is only released when you approve the work — a no-show never costs you anything.

If the pro doesn’t show up:

  • Your money stays in escrow — nothing is paid out for work that didn’t happen
  • Message the pro in-app first; schedules sometimes slip
  • If they’re unresponsive, contact support and choose another bidder for your job

If the work isn’t right:

  • Don’t approve the job yet — approval is what releases payment
  • Document the issue with photos and raise it in the app
  • See your full options in disputes on work or fees
